A New Hope

Today I had a visit from Mr. Devanthéry. He is the person who Induni have hired to take over all the 'problems' with our 8 new houses. It is a sad refection that nearly 6 months after the first family moved in, that there are still enough outstanding problems for Induni to have to hire someone to fix them.
We went through the list of outstanding issues, including the list (which he brought with him) we made at Induni's first attempt to give us the house back in February and of course the water problem. He promised to get it all fixed, not the first time I have heard those words.

Bert'Eau had written written a letter the Tuesday after a Friday when I had asked the third (different) person to come and try and find the leak to leave and not come back until he had 'a' plan, 'the' plans of the house, some tools (apart from a drill) and an appointment with us. They actually used the word refoule which translates roughly to 'repelled'. That is how they describe our reaction to them ringing the front door bell at 06:45 on Monday (26th May) without said appointment. I guess it is a pretty good interpretation of our actions :-)

So we have to wait and see what happens, you can probably guess my level of confidence...
